Strategic Vision 2009-12

CHeCC’s strategic vision for the coming years includes the following targets:

• Maintenance of a robust quality assurance framework in spite of cuts in public funding 
• A comprehensive approach to consultation on existing and new services with clients and young people in general
• Increased partnership working  with a range of public bodies, such as GP Services and schools
• Ensure the availability of community counselling across the whole county and that services match demand in terms of both need and population.
• Develop a diverse range of funding from both public and voluntary sector sources that sustains the CHeCC network of community counselling.
• Undertake research to identify reasons for the underrepresentation by males and some ethnic minority groups and develop strategies for rectifying these.
