Service Development
CHeCC agencies work together so that they are more effective in delivering a high quality service for young people:
- sharing information on developments & opportunities within the counselling world.
- representing member agencies’ views and interests with policy-makers and public bodies
- promoting the services provided by member agencies
- supporting each other to share and develop best practice in the delivery of counselling in a community setting
- researching questions that arise from our evaluation data, for example, why do more females engage with community counselling than males?
- setting up and running pilots, for example trialling ways in which young people who abuse drugs and alcohol can benefit from counselling
